Internal Sales – Account Manager
Description
Reporting to the sales director you will establish and maintain strong working relationships with the customer. Working closely within the team you will maximise profit margins by developing and maximising brand strategy solutions, using your product knowledge to sell and switch products in line with promotions and customer needs. Responsible for customer service management of key accounts and business development in accordance with quality procedures.
Key Area of Responsibility:
- Achieve sales and promotional targets as agreed.
- Maintain brand strategy across the customer base
- Focus on complete product proliferation through gap analysis
- Identify and prospect of potential new business
- Implement and execute email campaigns to nurture leads and customers
- Agree to client visits where and when appropriate
- Agree and achieve daily outgoing call rates
- Agree and achieve monthly new business accounts created
- Comply with all in house quality procedures
- Agree and demonstrate a marketing influence within the set area
- Help develop / coordinate /assist with copy for all marketing collateral, campaign assets, communications for company campaigns and communications.
- Engagement for customer feedback
- Demonstrate flexibility to cover colleague’s leave.
- Complete all administration where appropriate
- Comply with all in house quality procedure relating to customer returns/credits/sales enquiry forms and customer complaints.
- Attend weekly/monthly sales meetings with area overview/updates.
- Attend monthly performance reviews.
- Plan and identify new business marketing strategy within the business base on a monthly basis.
- Brief all team members on a daily basis with area updates.
- Complete and obtain competitor analysis on a regular basis.
- Manage budgets and KPIs across the role including metrics for all activities
- Develop relationships with key stake holders, both internal and external
Skills & Qualifications
- 1 year + experience within a B2B marketing organisation
- Must be dynamic, capable, hardworking, confident with the ability to work as part of a team whist managing own workload
- Excellent telephone manner and customer relation skills
- Good attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Experience with Online Lead Funnels (generation, nurturing, scoring and conversion);
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365
- Experience of customer acquisition
